I was born in a Hindu community. I hated Christians as untouchables and abused my parents when they prayed to Jesus. One night, while I was asleep, a person appeared to me in a dream with His hands wounded and told me He was wounded for me and that He was going to use me as His servant.
The next day I went to a pastor and he said that God had called me for His service and he told me about Jesus. I immediately confessed my sins and received Jesus as my Savior.
My wife was saved, along with her family, at an evangelistic meeting. Her name, Suvartha, means evangelist. She prayed for a husband and God showed her to be a wife to a pastor. I am grateful to Him for sending me my helpmate.
I work among the Lingala and Bandhala tribal people. I have led 400 people to the Lord Jesus of which 300 have been baptized. I have started three new churches.
We live in a very small house which we rent. Our favorite foods are rice, dall, fish and chicken. We are unable to grow our own food and many times do not have the money to purchase any.
