I saw Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young (CSNY) in 1976 in Springfield Massachusetts. I loved their music, and was excited to see them only to be let down by idiot fans who booed them, and threw bottles when they changed their set to acoustic wiping out some of their great songs like Ohio, Find the Cost of Freedom and Chicago, all anti-war songs that resonate with many of us till this day. I think that part of their appeal for me was their desire to not allow the status quo to reign, especially when it related to war.

“Image is everythingâ€â€”or so pitched American tennis legend Andre Agassi for Canon photography. Though the idea of “Image†obviously serves as a metaphor for the pictures that the Canon Rebel could produce, the marketing is equally obvious: from athletics to academics to politics, Image has not merely exceeded Content—at this point Image threatens to replace Content in a world without truth. This theme—of which steroid use and abuse in merely a symptom of the broader Image/Content dispute—forms the compelling foundation for Chris Bell’s new documentary regarding steroid abuse in the U.S.

What keeps our attention in the Bourne films, along with the outrageously slick fight scenes and Bourne's uncanny ability to stay one-step-ahead of his pursuers, is that he's actually on a very human mission - a journey, if you will, to find out who he really is. Despite the fact that he has amnesia blocking his deeper, more intense memories, and more passports and fake id's than any agent could ever need, we can't help but get caught up in his real quest: will he ever learn his true identity?

Dr. Francis Schaeffer was right when he said that the best way to understand the basic world view of a period of history is by studying its art forms, and it is because of this observation that I write this paper. My hopes are that we recognize our challenge in finding appropriate vehicles of communication directly connected to our interest, or lack thereof, in works of art produced by those who make up our culture.

Every human has a theology. From the clearest explanations of the infinite, to the most bizarre notions of man’s imagination to dismiss His existence, one thing is true: we all think thoughts about God, whether accurate or inaccurate. read more...

I never had a real family, one that cares and loves unconditionally. Even as a newly wed, I felt loneliness, emptiness, and a deep rooted feeling that despite it all, I didn't want to be here anymore. Last December I overdosed on over the counter medications- I can't even tell you how many pills I took, all I knew was I didn't want to live anymore. read more...
About a year ago I lived in a really amazing place. I loved it there! Life was good... and then one day I found this random door, this strange door that I had never noticed. I opened it up and was astonished at what I saw. That whole time I had been living in a tiny bathroom and on the other side of that door was a huge house... read more...
