Kaleo Church is a non-denominational church in San Diego California.
Vision: "Kaleo exists to delight in God above all else, to exalt His name among all people, for His glory through Jesus Christ."
Mission: It is our passion that Kaleo would become a community that is being freed and transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ, that is learning to worship God as His sons and daughters, and that is inviting others to experience the liberating power of the gospel. To transform San Diego into a God glorifying city through the faithful proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ while we live in response to its reality in our lives daily.
Motivation: We believe the gospel is not just the A-B-C's, but the A to Z of Christianity. The gospel is not just the minimum required doctrine necessary to enter the kingdom, but the way we make all progress in the kingdom. We are not just saved by the gospel and then changed by obedience, but the gospel is the way we grow (Gal. 3:1-3) and are renewed (Col. 1:6). It is the solution to each problem, the key to each closed door, the power through every barrier (Rom. 1:16-17).
Kaleo is a church who desires to be gospel-centered. This means we want to spread the gospel, first to ourselves and then through the city by word, deed, and community. We want to bring about personal changes, social healing, and cultural renewal through a movement of churches and ministries that change San Diego and through it, the world.
