Wisdom/bit of advise/quote: Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all.
Wife: My beautiful wife Grace was given to me by God (I don't know what it is with guys named David that need so much Grace). We have been happily married since 1996.
Children: Michael Anthony, my son, was born 1983 (he is into art, web design, photography and loves Christian punk, even though it makes my ears bleed, and he is a pretty nifty electric guitarist in his band OBADIAH), Madison Grace, my daughter, was born in 1997 (she digs Barbies, scrapbooking, girl things that are frilly, and loves to sing).
Education: Currently enrolled at Covenant Theological Seminary for M.A. in Theological Studies
Hope and Vision for Kaleo: That God would be pleased to use this body of believers to transform our culture in San Diego.
How you got involved with Kaleo: God predestined me before the foundations of the earth to plant the church.
A few of my favorite things: The Word of God, the dead guys (Augustine, Calvin, Luther, Edwards, Pink, Spurgeon, Whitfield, Van Til), a few living guys (John Piper, R.C. Sproul, Bob Morey, Doug Wilson and a handful of others). Oh, and the Puritans (too many to list), boxing, martial arts, the history channel, war movies, Cuban cigars and the smell of pipe tobacco.
Favorite preacher: C'mon, are you serious? C.H. Spurgeon, hands down.
