Hope and Vision for Kaleo: My hope is that God would put a desire in our hearts to live out the gospel in a way that would be contagious in San Diego and would spread throughout the U.S.A.
How you got involved with Kaleo: Drew & I attended and met at Mars Hill Church, headquarters of the Acts 29 Church planting network, in Seattle. After much wonderful teaching, we felt a calling to San Diego. We met David & Grace Fairchild our first week here and had no intention to plant churches at the time. Almost immediately, we helped plant Crossroads, an Acts 29 church in the South Bay. We enjoyed the community there but knew our time there would be short-lived, as David & Drew felt a strong calling to plant in central San Diego. Then poof...out came Kaleo.
A few of my favorite things: Alone time with my man, alone time with my kids, an organized home, chocolate fondu (stop laughing Leah), the amazing women at Kaleo that love me in spite of me and continually teach me through Christ's love. Oh yeah... skydiving, bungee jumping, sushi, rap music and industrial metal (that's right Brian).
