Kaleo San Diego Church

Kaleo seeks to engage every aspect of life in the city.    We seek to think through, not simply how we grow our church but, how are we going to change a city.  Here are some ways we seek to change our city: 

Metro Church Alliance - [Church Partnering/Kingdom] The Metro Church Alliance is our relationship with several churches to partner in the gospel to see the city changed.  We meet with these churches monthly to broaden our shared goals of city transformation and to pray for the city of San Diego.

Tentmaker Group - [Employment, Education, Resources & City Investment] The Tentmaker Group goal is to create sustainable funding for church planters & planting.  One of the goals is to pair planters & ministry leaders with positions that allow them to provide for their families and transition with income into the ministry.   Additionally, we want to provide jobs in a company that will bless the city.  The Tentmaker Group will be a company that uses its profits for the good of the cities we are in.

Kaleo Counseling Center - [Counseling]  The Kaleo Counseling Center provides gospel counseling to both people in and outside of the church.  Counseling is the modern secular hope and we would like to be able to provide free (or low cost) gospel-centered counseling to those in need.

Think San Diego - [Social Concerns, Government/Politics, Society & Awareness]  Think San Diego creates awareness on the issues surrounding our city/county.  Our goal is to foster thought on laws/voting, to help foster positive social activism and to present issues through the lens of the gospel.

Imagine San Diego - [Social Justice, Environment, Cause]  Imagine San Diego is non-profit focused on city renewal.  It will call businesses, leaders and churches to participate in acts of social healing, mercy and city transformation.  We have begun to gather groups in other cities for the Imagine City Group, an umbrella non-profit in which other churches and cities can participate in who will seek grants .

Gospel @ Work - [Vocation & Stewardship] Gospel AT Work is a ministry that offers programs, groups, and ministries focused on integrating the Christian faith with our work.

Re:Novo Institute- [Education & Training] Re:Novo Academy will train potential planters and those interested in assiting church plants over a 2 year intensive study program.  Each student will graduate with a Graduate Certificate from Re:Novo Academy. 

Geneva San Diego Academy - [Education] Classical Christian Education to train the next generation with a gospel worldview.

San Diego Artist Forum - [Culture & Art] Engaging culture and the arts through the lens of the gospel.

The Courtyard - [Performance & Art] Events, performances and shows hosted as a 3rd place to engage the city in a common area.

The Cloud Network - [Technology] Using technology and search engine optimization to connect & gather Christians and be on mission to the world online.
