How do you feel about your weaknesses and failures? Do you examine them closely, or do you put your mind on other things? Are these weaknesses things that you want others to know about, or do you try your best to cover them up?

When we have the proper image of God; when we see that He is better, more statisfying, and more worthy than sin, we see that not only is He our Master, but he is our Good Master. When we doubt, and see God as only a Master, the sin that speaks to our heart gets the upper hand.

How can we keep the proper image of God? How do we lose sight of the true Nature of God?

In Psalm 36, David shows us how we fall into the dark trap of sin. He shows us how our treatment of our weaknesses and failures leads us away from the true nature of God. David shows us how to live in the light; to see and hate our sin.
