Sunday Service
Set up/Tear Down Team Members: People are needed who are willing to help set up and tear down for the Sunday services, including staging, screen, set-up, etc.

Soundboard Techs: A couple volunteers are needed to rotate running the sound board on Sunday mornings. No experience needed--we'll train you!

Counselors/Support Groups: If you have interest in taking the Helping Others Change counseling training, or helping to start (or be part of) a particular support group, such as grief support, substance abuse, post-abortion, sexual identity issues, etc. please contact Steve Trout.

Mercy Ministry Serving Opportunities
R.E.A.C.H. Ministry
If you have an a heart to help the homeless, can use the internet, and can put together packages, consider serving in the REACH Ministry. Help Kaleo bring food and the Gospel to the homeless by partnering with the Deacons Fund in gathering together the supplies, putting together the REACH package, and linking up your family at Kaleo to distribute them.

East County Pregnancy Care Center
This ministry assists women who are struggling with the spiritual, emotional, and financial issues related to caring for their babies. Volunteers are needed in many areas including administration, counseling, etc.

Care House Life Ministries
If you have a heart for homeless and underprivileged youth, this may be the ministry for you. Opportunities to serve include assisting with events, providing practical needs, and mentoring a child.

Monarch Meals
A group of Kaleo volunteers ministers to the kids at Monarch School, a school for the homeless downtown, by providing and serving dinner twice a month. Kaleo is in need of volunteers who love kids, love to cook, or simply love to serve.

Abandoned But Precious
This ministry serves orphaned children in India. You can participate in Abandoned but Precious Ministries by sponsoring a child for $20 a month to provide food, clothing, education, and shelter; giving financially; and praying.

Granite Hills Convalescent Home
If you love the elderly, you are invited to join a group of Kaleo volunteers who spend time and share the Gospel with patients suffering from dementia, Alzheimer's, and other debilitating illnesses.

Amada Ministry
Through the Amada Ministry, Kaleo reaches out with unconditional love to women oppressed in the sex industry, particularly those working as exotic dancers. You can participate in this ministry by providing free childcare, financially assisting with scholarships for cosmetology school, or loving the women trapped in this industry.

Have Only A Little Time to Volunteer each week? No experience necessary! We're looking for a small group of volunteers to telephone five San Diego churches a week to ask if they would perform a Bible Drive for us in 2008.
