Join us June 23rd - 26th!
Kaleo Church believes that mission starts with our own neighbors first. One of our favorite times of the year is Serve the City. It is a time where we take our vacation days, and instead of going on a mission trip oversees, we take a mission trip to the city of El Cajon. The goal in doing this is to better love and serve our local neighbors. Each year we put on a FREE basketball camp as a way to show off the great love our God has first shown us (1 John 4:19). It is a great time of coming together as a family to really live out what Jesus called his disciples to do before he went to the cross. He said,
“A new commandment I give you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another (John 13:34-35).”
When saying that to the disciples, an implication Jesus was making was that we must love one another in front of others. So, when we are loving each other in front of others in our city, it will raise questions in their mind about what kind of people love this way. We believe that makes it possible to share the love that God has shown us in Christ.
Seek the Welfare of the City
In Jeremiah 29, Israel has been sent by God into exile. They are in a place that is not their home. Naturally, most of us would count the days until freedom if we were in such a situation. However, God says to them,
“But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare (Jer. 29:7).”
Although we believe that El Cajon is not our true home (Phil. 3:20), we do believe God has sovereignly placed us in El Cajon to seek and pray for the welfare of the city. In doing so, not only is our hope that people would come to treasure Jesus, but we really do believe El Cajon can become a better place to live.

I liked how the post focused on serving local neighbors instead of traveling far, especially the idea of taking time to help the city through activities like the basketball camp. It made the message feel practical and community-centered. During a busy semester, I remember reading about community events like this while I used Programming Assignment Writing Service to keep up with studies and still stay involved mentally. It reminded me that small acts of service can build stronger connections where we live.
These and just like that outfits truly highlight how fashion can evolve while still honoring its roots. It’s a well-rounded collection that offers something for every style preference, whether you love bold or minimal looks.
The part about volunteers gathering to serve different parts of the community during the June “Serve the City” initiative really stood out to me, especially the idea that small acts—like helping with local projects or supporting neighbors—can add up to something meaningful over time. It made me think about how community efforts often feel simple on the surface but actually require a lot of coordination and people quietly showing up where they’re needed. I also wondered how many first-time volunteers ended up joining this year and whether experiences like this encourage them to stay involved long term.
Reading it also reminded me how people from completely different walks of life tend to come together during these kinds of service events.…
The Serve the City: June 23-26 initiative is an inspiring way for communities to come together and make a real difference. Participating in volunteer activities not only helps those in need but also fosters unity, compassion, and a spirit of giving. Events like these showcase how collective efforts can create meaningful change and strengthen social bonds. Similarly, choosing the best embroidery digitizing service ensures that designs, logos, and custom embroidery projects are executed with precision and professionalism. Just as volunteering leaves a lasting positive impact on communities, high-quality digitizing leaves a lasting, visually perfect impression on every embroidered piece.
Just read the “Best Time to Take Enclomiphene” article — and it clarified a lot of small but important details for me. The article explains that because Enclomiphene triggers your own testosterone production by stimulating LH/FSH via estrogen-receptor blocking, its timing can influence how well your body responds. They suggest aligning the dose with your daily routine for consistency — that seems practical, because regular dosing helps maintain stable hormone levels. I’m thinking of trying a morning dose to match natural hormone rhythms, but also careful to stay consistent day-to-day as advised.
